The series "templates" have their origin in existing paintings which were first 3D scanned and afterwards distorted and transformed digitally. For the edition on YOUar I wear one of my paintings like a habit. (edition of 29)
Stefan Reiterer (*1988) is a visual artist based in Vienna, Austria. Reiterer's painting practice deals with representation of space and its manipulation potential. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and the Faculdade de Belas Artes in Portugal. His works have been shown in numerous international solo and group exhibitions, including Galerie CRONE, Berlin/Vienna, CCA Andratx Mallorca and the Austrian Cultural Forum London. His works are represented in the Austrian Belvedere Gallery, the Austrian State Collection, the MUSA City Collection of Vienna and the Collection CCA Andratx, Mallorca.
